I am very impressed with this gi so far. I'm 6' and 190lbs, but decided to try the A2 as many A3's are too baggy even after shrinking. This A2 fit like a glove out of the bag, so I was concerned about shrinkage due to the gold weave's reputation. However, I must say after a cold wash and hang dry, it still fit perfect. The weave is very soft, but held up well while rolling, even after being soaked in sweat. I also like that it didn't stretch when wet. I returned a 93brand pearl weave because of stretching, which was giving my opponents too much of an advantage. We will see how it holds up over the next few months, but so far its great, and you can't beat the price. The gi also has a great look, which drew praises from many at my academy.
